Stan Shartle

Engineers, Inc. and has over 60 years of comprehensive experience in all aspects of surveying throughout the State of Indiana, specifically Hendricks County.

Mr. Shartle serves as a mentor for many engineers and surveyors due to his wide array of experience in engineering and surveying. He has been in responsible charge of land surveying, preparation of plats and town maps, bridge and drainage design, construction supervision, route and property surveys, legal descriptions, rights-of-way engineering, and plat book preparation for the County auditor. Mr. Shartle has helped governmental agencies to develop and administer comprehensive ordinances regulating land use, zoning, right-of-way engineering, and subdivisions. He has also acted as the chief engineering expert in court cases involving adjoining landowners and has written legal descriptions, selected courses of action, applied rules, and developed alternatives for governmental agencies. Mr. Shartle was instrumental in establishing the right-of-way procedures and standards currently used by INDOT.
Mr. Shartle has been a Registered Land Surveyor since 1945 and a Registered Professional Engineer since 1950 in the State of Indiana. |
