Location of project:   West Lafayette, IN

Services Provided: Civil Engineering Design

Description of Project: This project included the resurfacing of parts of Navajo Street and Sacramento Drive and sidewalk and ADA ramp evaluations.  The limits of the project include Navajo Street between Salisbury Street and Indian Trail Drive, and Sacramento Drive from Navajo Street to Park Ridge Drive.   Also included was determining the location of existing walks, curb ramps and ground points between curb line and right-of-way to determine placement of new sidewalks and ADA curb ramps.  Additionally, a detailed topographic survey occurred at the intersection of Navajo Street and Nighthawk Lane and determining the locations of radius points at the intersections with Huron Road, Delaware Drive, and Miami Trail to evaluate existing drainage conditions. We also evaluated existing sidewalk connectivity issues for the design of the sidewalk, including bus stop east of fire station, the paved area along south side of Marsh Grocery store, and Sacramento Drive from Navajo Street to Park Ridge Drive.   The estimated construction cost was $275,000.
