Description of Project: This project includes the design of a new urban street section with two 12 foot lanes with combined curb and gutter; it also includes a divided median over a portion of the project and is approximately 3,000 feet in length.  The project contains new road reconstruction, enclosed storm sewer system, striping, sidewalks and ADA ramps, several public road approaches, numerous private driveways and major storm drainage additions/modifications.  This road became a major link between previously difficult access areas for the Town and County and also now serves as the primary entrance for the newly renovated Hendricks Regional Health facility.  The estimated construction cost for this project was $1,000,000.  The governing body in responsible charge of this project was all of the Clients noted above.

Parsons Cunningham & Shartle Engineers, Inc. (PCS) performed a topographic/route and right of way survey, design and construction inspection for the new road alignment.  PCS also performed all right of engineering plan development including legal descriptions and land plats for this project.  There were 8 parcels affected by this project.  The survey complied with the INDOT survey procedures manual and all right of way engineering complied with the INDOT Right of Way Procedures Manual for land acquisition.  Also, the design complied with all INDOT standards and procedures and the construction inspection generally complied with INDOT/Federal inspection requirements.  PCS was the prime consultant for this project.
