Morris Street & Bridge Rehabilitation over White River

Description of Project: PCS Engineers participated in the inspection of 3,400’ of reconstructed Morris Street and a 655’ bridge over White River in Indianapolis, IN.  The new roadway consisted of 4 travel lanes, curb and gutter and 6’ sidewalks on either side of the roadway.  The bridge is an open spandrel concrete arch structure and required extensive rehabilitation.  The bridge is 5 lanes wide, with 2’ shoulders and 6’ sidewalks on each side.  ADA considerations were a priority for new sidewalks and bridge access.
